Welcome to Vivi’s Lasagna! My name is Vivian (Vivi), and I created Vivi’s Lasagna because I love to create magical food experiences for others.
Delivering a mouth-watering, cheesy fresh lasagna hot out of the oven to neighbors and friends is soul-satisfying. Comfort food to the max! I live in The Villages in San Jose, so you might see me delivering lasagnas in my golf cart!
I also continue to operate Pinecone Learning nearby. This is my afternoon job, so I have all my mornings and weekends to cook and deliver.
The inspiration for Vivi’s Lasagna came about in 2023 when I read about MEHKO permits in California. A Micro Economic Home Kitchen Operation permit allows people to sell food cooked in their homes. It is the first of its kind in the United States. There are only a few counties in California (so far) that allow it. Santa Clara was added in 2023. The requirements and inspections are fairly rigid, but I passed and received my permit just a few months ago. I’m one of the first!
Right now, I offer the three lasagnas listed on our order page, but I can cook a custom lasagna for you if you have a favorite. If you live outside of my free delivery range (about 3-4 miles), you can schedule a pick-up at my Pinecone classroom (during non-class hours, of course): 2921 Villages Parkway, San Jose, CA 95135.
