Vivi's Homemade tomato sauce
The secret is in the sauce. San Marzano Cento peeled tomatoes combine with Amore sun-dried tomato paste, lots of fresh garlic, fresh basil, oregano and sauteed carrots, onions, bay leaf and pepper flakes, then simmer for hours with a Parmesan rind, to create a rich and thick tomato sauce. For the Chicken Supreme, chicken broth, wine and butter are added.
